Lola Loves It

I took the dog over to the house today to let her get a feel for the place. Once inside the door it was almost like she knew this was going to be her new home. She immediately started running around like a little kid would in an open space with no furniture. Every time she was worn out she would run back and plop down on the fire place.

Thanks to the City of Brunswick I don't have to buy a battery backup for my sump pump. The city changed code and now requires a battery backup to be installed so we lucked out.

All the knobs are in place and look great. Theres nothing left to do other than install the cooktop and replace the chipped granite piece.

This time next week I'll blog from my living room!

  1. Everything looks really great! Did you upgrade from the basic paint color Ryan does, and if so what is the name of it, it looks good? Also, have they mentioned when you may get your drive and walk poured? I think with hindsight being 20/20, they could have poured ours when they were building ours, but I am really anxious to get ours done. Then I can start to worry about a patio and walkway from the garage to the driveway.

    Thanks!,

  2. Look how happy Lola looks! She matches your fireplace so well. Everything is looking great. How nice that Brunswick requires the battery back up for the sump!
