Framing Is Done

Framing and electrical was completed today and our pre-drywall walkthrough is set for 10 am tomorrow.

As of today we have 30 days to go. Here are some pics of the basement.

Basement's Poured And Framing Is Starting

They poured the basement yesterday and are starting on framing. All of the duct work on the first and second floor is done and the guys today were finishing in the basement and hooking up the furnace. 1 more meeting with Guardian on Monday regarding the basement set up.

They also have the garage drain in and ready to pour the concrete. Our pre-drywall meeting is set for Wednesday at 10am. I'm amazed at how fast this is going!

Progress!

It Looks Like a Crime Scene

Stopped by the house today and it looked like a crime scene with chalk lines lol. Progress is being made and things are really happening very fast. As you can see from the pictures below they're finalizing the layout. I also got a chance to spend time with some really great friends and go thru the Ravenna model in North Royalton. I hope I get old neighbors as new neighbors!

                               

                           

                         

We Have A Roof

The roof is up and the windows are going in. Now that it's protected from the elements they can really start on the inside of the house. They put the basement window in where it should be, but they still need to correct the minor laundry room issue.

Second Flor Is Up

We went to the house today just as the framers where going to A) Lunch B) Home C) Sled Riding it was earlier lol.... They are fast we should have a roof and windows by Friday.

First Floor Is Done

The first floor is done. I stopped by tonight as soon as my plane landed just so I could look around. I suggest going during the day so you don't step in the mud in your expensive dress shoes LOL plus you still can't see anything in the dark.

                                                     

Walls Are Going Up

Happy to say they started framing today. I hate that I'm in Chicago and wasn't able to be there but I have to pay for it somehow. Here are a few pictures the last one was emailed to us from our PM.

I Hate Snow

Due to the unusual snow storm (who knew it would snow in January) the framers weren't able to start framing today so it looks like Monday will be the day.

We Got Wood This Morning

The wood has been delivered and framing starts tomorrow. It's down hill from there and I can't wait and so excited!!!!

Went over to Rite Rug to look at the tile, carpet and wood floors I picked and so happy with the wood and carpet. Not to happy with the design border of the tile. It's to feminine for my taste and I wonder if they could let us do with out or switch it to something else but keep the tile......
